Rev. Andrew Ekblad is the Senior Pastor. Andy grew up on Mercer Island, Wash., graduated from Seattle Pacific University, and attended seminary at Regent College and Princeton. Prior to coming to FPC, Andy pastored Eastmont Presbyterian Church in Wenatchee, Wash. He and his wife, Mary, have three daughters, Sarah, Hannah and Leah. They came to FPC in 1997. 

Sandy Hampton is the Director of Congregational Care and Commisioned Lay Pastor. Sandy grew up in Missouri, graduated from Southeast Missouri State University, and taught high school before moving to Alaska. She is married to Bruce and has four children. She has been at FPC since 1991.

Joan Kersten is the Administrative Assistant. Joan grew up in Iowa. She has five children, and all are grown-up and out on their own. Joan came to work at FPC in March of 2002.

James Menaker is the Youth Director. James was born and raised in Fairbanks. He attended college in Washington, then returned to Fairbanks to pursue college ministry at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. As Youth Director at FPC, he also ministers to young people aged 12 to 18. He and his wife, Carina, have two children, Diego, 4, and Esperanza, 2.

Sue Stanton is Director of Young Adult Ministry. She was born in Wheaton, Ill., She came to Fairbanks in 1986, to play basketball for the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. With a master's degree in counseling and a love for young adults, she is fit for her ministry work at FPC. She and her husband, Rod, have two children, Katie and Ricky.
