Rev. Andrew Ekblad is the Senior Pastor. Andy grew up on Mercer Island, Wash., graduated from Seattle Pacific University, and attended seminary at Regent College and Princeton. Prior to coming to FPC, Andy pastored Eastmont Presbyterian Church in Wenatchee, Wash. He and his wife, Mary, have three daughters, Sarah, Hannah and Leah. They came to FPC in 1997. |

Rev. Dave Moody grew up in Wichita, KS, graduated from Baylor University, and attended seminary at Regent College. Before attending seminary, Dave and his wife Barb were on staff with Caleb Project, a mobilization agency focused on the world's least evangelized peoples. Before coming to First Presbyterian, Dave was pastor of Trinity United Presbyterian Church in Sparta, IL. Dave and Barb have four children, Ian, Emma, Aidan and Liam. |

David Booher is the Youth Director. David is originally from Texas, but has loved living in Alaska since December of 2009. David loves to read, write, cook, play video games and is an avid Ultimate Frisbee player. His passions for ministry include mentoring, Gospel storytelling, Bible study and fellowship. |

Emily Miner is the Children's Ministry Director. Emily grew up in beautiful, chilly Northern NY, right on the Canadian border. She loves to explore new places and so far, Alaska is her favorite state! Emily enjoys spending time with hubby Matt and daughter Kansas. She also enjoys reading, having deep conversation over ice tea (no coffee for her) and spending time in nature. Creating a warm accepting environment for kids to talk with her about Jesus is her favorite part of her work, and she loves silly jokes, the sillier the better. Laughing each day keeps the blahs away! |

Joan Kersten is the Administrative Assistant. Joan grew up in Iowa. She has five children, and all are grown-up and out on their own. Joan came to work at FPC in March of 2002. |
