Leadership within the household of faith is primarily the responsibility of the church officers, elders and deacons.
Elders, along with the pastors, form the Session, which is responsible for decision-making in the areas of worship, Christian education, mission, personnel administration, finance, and facilities. Those who have made a commitment to FPC by becoming a member may be nominated for church office. Terms are three years in length. New elders and deacons are elected by the congregation in the fall of each year.

Deacons
The office of Deacon is set forth in scripture as one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. It is the duty of Deacons first of all to minister to those in need, to the sick, to the friendless and any that are in distress. The Board of Deacons is structured with officers and commissions to carry out their work.
The board currently consists of the following members:
Susan Kalen, Jeanne Maddux, Michele Marney, Lily Miller, Jack Schnurr, Jim Williams, Liz Leonardson, Judy Williams, Norma Wivoda, Susan Craft, Linda Wells, and Evelyn Hopson.
