Director of Children's Ministry Position Description

First Presbyterian Church of Fairbanks, Alaska is seeking a full time Director of Children's Ministry to oversee and develop a comprehensive program for children (infant to age 12) and their families. We are looking for an organized person with a love for God, kids, and a heart for outreach.

Duties and Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Recruit and lead Children's Ministry Team
• Select and plan curriculum materials
• Plan, recruit, and train teachers for Sunday School, Children's Church, and mid-week programs
• Organize and supervise annual Vacation Bible School, Christmas and Easter programs
• Provide teaching, training, and mentorship to parents in the areas of parenting and their children's spiritual growth
• Provide outreach to the community in an effort to grow the program and introduce new children and families to Christ
